Konvos under the Kaleidoscope: Culture and Gender Roles

Taking inspiration (and permission) from Spectrum’s safe space, GEN is hoping to hold our biweekly conversation sessions. We’ll introduce a theme or topic for every conversation along with resources to inform your opinions ahead of time. The actual conversation, however, will be completely led by its attendees. It’ll be a fun chill space to talk, rank, or whatever else. Of course, all opinions (that aren’t hateful) will be welcomed and respected. Our first Konvo will be about the intersection of culture and gender. We put together a video with representatives from Alma Latina, ASIA, BELLAS, BSU, EEC, Hatikvah, IAS, ISA, MSA, and SPECTRUM specifically investigating their gender roles. This video will be released on Monday Jan 25 and we’ll be hosting our Konvo the day after to talk about the video anything else that comes up about culture x gender.
