Maker 1.0: Middle School Design Divas (GIRLS ONLY, grades 7-8) | Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy

Maker 1.0: Middle School Design Divas (GIRLS ONLY, grades 7-8)

Calling all middle school design divas: turn your brain power into girl power! Come create with your peers in a program designed just for girls. Design Divas introduces you to design thinking and the Maker Movement, getting you involved with modern prototyping methods and technology. Learn how to use technology tools like 3D pens, 3D printing, and the basics of electronics. Participate in individual and team design challenges from jewelry creation to problem-solving using your new skills and the IN2 Makerspace's technology and tools. Turn your face into a model, or make a selfie-statue to put on your desk; what you take home depends on what you want to create. Beat the heat, and make yourself cool.
