Aurora, IL, February 8, 2018 – The National Merit® Scholarship Program recently named 45 finalists from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy® (IMSA) in its 2018 competition. IMSA finalists represent 27 different communities throughout Illinois. Nearly 25 percent of IMSA’s senior class are recognized as finalists.
Approximately half of the finalists will receive National Merit Scholarships for undergraduate study totaling more than $32 million. Merit Scholars® will be announced in the spring of 2018.
