World Languages Faculty – Spanish
Bio:
Dr. Kaluza earned her Ph.D. in Spanish from New York University in 2015 and her MA in Spanish from Middlebury College in Madrid, Spain. She participated in several study abroad programs in Spain and Italy and fell in love with Romance languages and cultures. Before joining IMSA, Dr. Kaluza taught Spanish language and literature and her native Polish at the college level. Some of her greatest passions include outdoor sports like hiking, skiing, and paddleboarding. She believes her family throws the best barbecue parties, complete with a live band, salsa and cumbia dancing, and a taco stand.
