Lassandra Walker

Biography
Lassandra Walker graduated from Chicago State University with a BS in Biological Sciences and a MS in Applied Physiology. She graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health with a Master’s in Public Health. Her research interest in college was on infectious diseases. She has taught at several colleges and universities, including East West University, Indiana University Northwest, and Governors State University. She was awarded a US Public Health Traineeship Award and is a recipient of a National Science Foundation fellowship. Lassandra Walker joined IMSA as a science faculty member in August 2023.
