Biography
Ms. Julie Dowling is an Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy alumni, class of 1999. She received her undergraduate in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2003 and her masters in teaching secondary mathematics from Aurora University in 2008. Ms. Dowling returned to IMSA in 2004 through 2007 as a Hall Coordinator and became part of the mathematics faculty in 2014. Ms. Dowling, in addition to her academic achievements, has been the drama club director and mathematics modeling competitions organizer.
