Bio:
Ms. Klimek joined IMSA as a Science Faculty member on September 2022. Ms. Klimek received her Associate in Science from the College of DuPage, her Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, Biological Sciences, and her Master of Science, Biological Sciences, from Northern Illinois University. Her research compared microbial communities in the soils of restored tallgrass prairies with those of remnant prairies and agricultural soils at The Nachusa Grasslands, which is a breathtaking prairie, wetland, and woodland restoration in Franklin Grove, IL. Desirae was formerly a Teaching Assistant, Department of Biological Sciences, for Northern Illinois University
