Today in vital signs we continued our Pharmaceutical project with a titration leading to a neutralization reaction! Students will use the data collected in this titration to calculate how much “medicine“ would be needed to address an overly acidic stomach! We also performed open-heart surgery by completing a sheep heart dissection! Our seventh and eighth graders really enjoyed learning all about mammalian, heart anatomy and physiology.
