Comfort and Principal’s office,
I am requesting permission to work from home today, Feb 17. I am very concerned with the worsening driving conditions, especially living further out in Sycamore. Even a small amount of snow, with the already high winds, causes the roads to be nearly impassable once you get to the open farmland. Additionally, I have gotten emails from over half of the students in my mod 78 class that they will not be in class due to either already being at home or the early departure of the downstate bus. Today’s plan for class was to do a lab, which we are already pivoting from due to the large number of absences.
