In an effort to continue attracting diverse and talented students from across the State of Illinois, we are reaching out to ask for your help. As an IMSA Alum, you know first-hand what it takes to be an IMSA student, and what type of student thrives here. If you know of a student who might be interested in attending IMSA, but maybe they have not had the opportunity to learn about IMSA, please send the student’s (or parent’s) name and email address to the Admissions Department. An Admissions Counselor can personally reach out to them to give them more information about IMSA. We won’t send them any spam, and they won’t receive any automated messages (unless they ask to be put on our regular mailing list to receive the Admissions Newsletter which is released weekly).
Similarly, if you have any connections with community organizations or groups that work with Illinois youth who you think would benefit from a visit with an Admissions Counselor, please let us know that as well. An Admissions Counselor would be more than happy to host an informational meeting with the group or with individual families. If you have any questions or would like any of our marketing materials to share within your network, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Admissions Department (email@example.com) or visit our webpage (https://www.imsa.edu/site_section/admissions/).
As a reminder, eligible applicants to IMSA must:
- Be an Illinois resident
- Have completed Algebra 1 and a high school equivalent science course
- Not be enrolled beyond the 9th grade
- Have a completed application on file: Including online application form, SAT Math and Evidence-Based Reading & Writing scores, official grade reports, teacher evaluations, and counselor form.
